As an employer it will benefit you because you may qualify for subsidized employment and/or on the job training programs which will reimburse you for wages you'll pay employees. For an applicants it's great because it helps Welfare to Work applicants get additional training and/or a job that will lead to long term employment attachment.

HI,
The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program offers federal tax credits to the employers which is an incentive to hire people in several specific target groups. It helps both targeted job seeker and employers.
