Default tv show prize money

Hello, I was recently fortunate to win 100,000 dollar prize from a reality
show. I haven't recieved the check yet but I plan on getting it in the next
couple weeks. My question is what steps can i take to 'protect' the largest
proportion of the money from taxes? I am 22 years old and this is my only source of income this past year. Is there any way I can give non-taxable gifts to family members or something similar to that? Thanks - Jim
