Default Help...Payee List

The drop down list of payees (Quicken 2002) has become way to large. I have
searched and searched but can't find any way to delete the payees I no
longer use (a lot). Can anyone clue me in?
I asked this question a few months ago and never got a reply.

Generally those payees come from your Memorized Transaction
List, your Address Book, and your Online Payees. Delete from
those sources.
