QB 2005 Pro - link to ACCESS, Excel or ... then, build custo |
|
|
Hello --
Our project is to build custom reports on Balance Sheet and Income Statement
data.
I would appreciate comments from readers who have used linking products such
as
- accessBooksRT
- qodbc
- others?
to view QB data in ACCESS, SQL Server, Excel, or any other application.
Once I get the data into one of these platforms I am comfortable that I can
make the reports work.
Thanks for any comments or help.

Why waste your time and your client's money. If your project is to set up
custom financial statements then not using a product made specifically for
this purpose borders on the absurd. The following is a link to such a
product.

Intuit also includes in their Accountant's version, the ability to crteate
custom financial statements.

qodbc is a good product. It and most other products are built on top of
Intuits SDK and "may" not return all the data in QB due to limitations in
the SDK. The most comprehensive product for extracting data to Access is

Curiouso, Karl, and Allan --
Thanks for the suggestions.
If Adagio is flexible as advertised it might the one to use, because
historical data comes from ACCPAC Plus.
I had a problem with qodbc and am waiting for an answer from them.
