Default 21 year old with 150k bankroll, 80k income and never has pai

The subject pretty much sums it up. I run a business online that i started when I was 18. it has done well, but i've never paid taxes on anything, haven't started a business, etc.

I did invest some money into Scottrade and now i'm getting mail from the IRS saying I haven't paid taxes for 2006 because of it.

So basically I am screwing myself over here unless I handle this immediately. I need to atlk to someone who can help me with my finances.

1) What do you recommend I do in my situation?
2) Can your recommend the best way to find the best quality (for the money) finance advisor to help straighten a few thigns out with both the government and my business situation.

Thanks so much for your help.

Well i would like to suggest you that you have a word with the concerned authority person in the IRS and try to convince him about your willingness to pay the taxes. Its better to negotiate for breaking up the taxable amount in the coming years, as you didn't had any idea of it in past. In most of the cases they do this and diversify the payments in the future years. I think that can be the only solution in your case.

All the best.

Go find yourself a good accountant. Talk to your friends and family who they can refer.Got to take care of this as fast as you can as they do keep on adding up as days go by. Take care of this issues so you can move on with your business with a peace of mind.

If you don't have cash now to pay the taxes you may get a loan I think it will not be a problem for you. But your major concern should be now to pay the taxes otherwise your business may get shut.

I would get some advice from an accountant as someone pointed out earlier. Hope that you get it sorted.
