Hi there,
I would like to know what are your areas of investment is it stock trading or Life insurance or gold and other money markets. For Stock trading please refer to the book as follows:

For Insurance please refer to book :

I recently read "The Power Curve" by Scott Kyle and would have to say that it was the most informative investing book Ive come across in a long time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about options trading and discover the power of compounding investments.

Good Luck !!

Nailramp,
My areas of trading is in the stock market. I am mainly interested in learning more about stock options and how they can be lucrative even in poor performing market.

I did get a chance to take a look at the books you recommended. I will be sure to pick up a copy of Trading for a Living: Psychology, Trading Tactics, Money Management when I get the chance but from what I gather, is book is not very technical? I am looking for books that really get down and dirty with the numbers math bars a graphs. What did you like about that book?

Do you like technical analysis? I like this book a lot: Technical Analysis of Stock Trends.

For value investing, I enjoyed reading How to Make Money in Stocks: A Winning System in Good Times or Bad.

I only read these two books for stock trading, they are still in my shelf.

Ive read How to Make Money in Stocks: A Winning System in Good Times or Bad as well and liked it quite a bit. But when it comes to value investing - I definately feel THE POWER CURVE by Scott Kyle is the best so far.
Think you can get it on amazon or just check out its website thepowercurve.com.

Thanks for the recommendation lastsmoke. Did you manage to finish the entire technical analysis book? It seems like some pretty heavy reading. I took a look at both the books your recommended and I placed an order for How to Make Make Money in stocks: In Good Times and Bad. I am excited to get it in the mail. I also ordered the power curve. After readying the first chapter of the book I could tell the the author was a very well experienced trader. Make sure you give it a try. Thanks!

Almost finished, I often can't understand something and left it behind for some time. Practice is very important. I prefer technical analysis to value investing, I'm not a very patient person.

Lastsmoke - I read The Power Curve as well and was very impressed. It is one of the best books on options trading to have been published in a long time, definately recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about trading strategies such as compounding investments etc.

You can give a try on options. Investing in stock options is good to go besides you got Short sales I think you know about it.Just be good at calculation so that you can put a smile on your face at the end of the day.

Yes you should give options a try but remember the options trading is a high risk high reward business. Make sure that you thoroughly understand how they work before you begin. Also be very cautious of "naked" options trading. in an unstable market, i have seen people lose their houses cause they did not know what they were getting themselves into.

Good Luck!

Hey Mike,
I need to know exactly whether you need the advice on stock trading or life insurance. If you are interested in life insurance I must advice you the latest addition of the book 'New Life Insurance Investment Adviser'.This would really lead you to achieve financial security and other basic tips for life insurance. You can also get the knowledge about the latest insurance product in the market.
