....automatic update just simply does not work correctly. When I first open
MM2004 each morning it reports that I have, say, 1 statement to read. Then
I manually via "update now" and all of a sudden I have, say, 4 statements
to read. This should be fixed

These are the transactions you did not review after the recent update.

You just downloaded more transactions, so you have more to review.

What did you expect?

I meant that I do the manual uppdate immediately after the auto update. No
time lag between the two.

Since I switched to 2005 autoupdate has not worked. Even installed on
a different PC and it doesn't work. I always have to do a manual
update.

Manual update downloads transactions directly from your bank.

Autoupdate downloads the transactions that were downloaded on your behalf by
Yodlee, then forwarded from Yodlee to MSN (or whatever is the way it is
"powered by Yodlee"), so you download them from MSN. Hence the delay.
