i want to start again, so how can i remove all figures & hve a nill balance
to start over for the new year??

File > New and pick a different file name in case you ever want to refer
back to the old one! ;-)

Of course, then the OP will have to reenter all account and investment
holdings information. Maybe that's what she wants to do. But I would also
think starting with zero balances would make it hard to reconcile accounts
to the statement balances.
