OK I decide to wipe the slate clean on my 2005 trial and deleted my
problematic account that was not showing current transactions. When I went
to set it up it started buy has hit a glitch. The bank name is now appearing
in my account list but is asking me to provide sign in information so I
click that link and it takes me to the list of banking institutions and
highlights mine. I click next and it gives me the error message, "Account
Setup is temporarily unavailiable. Please try again later". This is gone on
all day. I have another account listed in my list from a different
institution that is updating fine. Seems strange. I went to msn. money and
Yodlee to see if I could set them up there and both are working. Yodlee has
perfect syncing....msn money is not downloading current transactions but
current balance. Not sure what to think about all of this.

Not sure what you really get from using Money except maybe downloads of info
that you probably could get at your bank site. Also you are sending all your
personal data to the internet servers. Is that OK with you? I use Money as a
personal finance program, not as a mechanism to upload and download financial
data over the internet. Good luck.

Well, from what I see here many others are taking advantage of the automatic
updates via internet. Since it is offer...btw quicken does the same
thing...I would think that folks are going to utilize it. Personally it
doesn't bother me in the least.

Can anyone give me some idea of something to try? I just wasted a half hour
on the phone with microsoft...was disconnected twice and got a case #
forwarded to to tech support but got disconnected and had to call back....
the next person claimed they had no evidence of my case # or information and
said they don't offer support for trial versions so they would not put me
through to the lad I was already speaking to in the first place! They said
to look on the web which I have done for two hours total over the past
couple days. Ahhhhhh!!!!!!! I am going to pull out my hair!!!!!!!!!!!! We
just want to try the darned thing already...I am at my wits end. If I can't
try it successfully I am certainly not going to buy it. My boss would think
it insane.

OK any other ideas? This is not working. When I setup a new account ofcourse
it won't let me configure it for online setup and thus give me the error. If
I go into the account list the new duplicate account is listed and if I
select merge duplicate accounts, the drop down menu to select account to
merge with comes up empty so it is not seeing the new account and therefore
has nothing to merge with.

The merge account is to go to the new account and then merge the old one
with it.

Art,

I think I am understanding but perhaps I am not. I do understand what you
are saying about the merge but perhaps the process in which I am using is
not correct. Perhaps a step by step for me? My old account has long been
deleted for Microsoft 2005 so it does not appear in my account list and
hasn't for a week. So perhaps this is where I am missing your instruction?
Thanks Nancy.
