I transferred some money to my brokerage account from checking.
Everything was OK initially, but since I downloaded from the broker:
the cash balance in the cash account is correct but
the cash balance for the same account, as displayed in the "Portfolio"
and "Account List" and "What I have" reports, is higher than the
balance in the cash account by the amount of the funds I transferred.

Anyone know how to fix it? Deleting all the recent transactions and
re-entering them did not work, nor did changing the opening balance by
a penny and changing it back, nor did -repair.

If Money 2004 register gives different balance when
the view is changed to show only unreconciled transactions or
in some other way, see

Thanks a lot for the link, Cal. The process described there worked
for me, & it wasn't very hard to do. For the benefit of anyone later
having a similar problem:

I wound up using the "Account Transactions" report to identify a
deposit generated by the system to agree with the broker's records.
This needed to be eliminated, or changed to a transfer transaction. I
couldn't edit the amount or date--they were greyed out, but I did
manage to change the Category field to "Transfer" and identify another
account. Afterwards I was able to edit the transaction from that
other account. I set the amount to zero then voided the transaction,
and finally deleted it. Now the balances are correct again.
