I am using Quicken 2005 Canadian version... and have been using Quicken for
over 10 years. I recently upgraded from 2004 to 2005 .. and noticed that
when the backup is automatically initiated it performs the backup but then
rather than getting the backup successful window it goes back to the backup
window again and you have to hit exit. Is this a glitch rather than having
the backup successful window come up and then hit ok and it would close off
quicken. It seems like a glitch to me... anyone else having that problem.

I'm seeing that behavior. I assumed it was one of the many small
nuisances caused by running with the Tweakui xmouse feature. Quicken
(why am I not surprised) doesn't deal with focus events correctly,
confusing focus with mouse click and autoraising windows as soon as
they get focus.

Maybe its just a separate bug, assuming you don't use xmouse.

Hi,

I did not have xmouse feature turned on in my TweakUI... but have done it
now and will wait to see if it makes a difference... I suspect this is a
glitch in Quicken and will be fixed in one of the Revisions that they
normally do... its too bad ... that they can't get it right prior to
launch... especially since the software is close to $100 Canadian now...
