I'm shocked at how few people use gas discount cards at the pump. I've been using them for about 3 or 4 years now. I know there are at least two cards out there right now that give 5% and 10% rebates at any gas station. That's like 40 cents a gallon today. I really don't understand why more people aren't using them. People will drive across town to save a few pennies a gallon but when there's simple, free ways they don't take advantage of it? Do people just not know about these or do they just not care? I was reading reviews on www.creditcardforum.com and sure enough they have the offers for free gas rebate cards featured on their homepage. I'm really shocked these haven't picked up more popularity with these ridiculous gas prices lately.
