I have a quick question about taxes and marriage. My fiance and I are getting married the early part of December, and I am unsure of the best way to file our taxes for 2005. We both fall into the 31% tax-bracket being single, and would, I assume, still fall within that tax-bracket as married or maybe higher.

Can we still file our taxes separately, or do we need to file them as married, but separately to do this? How does this work in this situation?
