I'm trying to do a simple reconciliation of my finances for the current year.
Basically, the structure would look something like this:

Net Worth 12/31/2004
+ Income (including realized gains) for current year 2005
- Expenses for current year
+ Unrealized gains (losses) for current year
= Net worth as of today

Does this make sense? Does anyone know of a report that can provide this
and have it balance, or alternatively, where I can pull the numbers from to
have it balance? I've tried different reports and I've tried pulling numbers
from Money. But, I can't find a pre-defined report or seem to get the
numbers to balance and haven't been able to find anything in the FAQs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Ian

Does the model Net Worth report not do that?

Thanks for the response. From what I can tell, the net worth report just
totals up account balances. I'm trying to reconcile Money much like you
would a bank account:

Previous net worth + changes = current net worth.

I'd like to be able to get it to balance and then obviously drill down on
the changes.

Thanks, again
Ian

See if
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;176329
helps. I doubt it will be what you want, but it is available.

To get to the Account Transactions report later versions is under
the Income and Expenses heading.
