I only have dialup so I don't or can't use some of their tools. Just
wondering if I'm missing some good features. What do you use and
recommend?

The most popular seem to be
IB, OX, TOS
see the Broker Topic at optionetics dot com slash bbs
tons of broker discussion et posts

Most main stream internet stock brokers barely know how to spell
options.

I've been using Ameritrade for about a decade now. I'm pretty satisfied.
