I use a desktop at home and a laptop when I am on the road. What I would like
to do is be able to keep my money file syncronized between my two computers.

The only answer I can think of is to use a memory stick to transfer your
..mny file or if the .mny file is too big then use backup and restore to/from
the stick.

Money offers nothing that will help with this. There is no good way to do
this short of something like WinXP Synchronization Manager. I can't say as
I've tried it or read here of someone who has.

Is that an answer to the question you never asked?

I do this 'almost' succesfully with Briefcase.

My .mny file lives on my home PC. I also keep it in my Briefcase on my
laptop.

Why 'almost'?

You have to be sure they are synchronised before you do anything on the
laptop, then synchronise again afterwards. The synchronisation isn't
'intelligent', it just overwrites the oldest file with the newest. So it
works but you have to be very disciplined.

Hope this helps
