How do I find out information on a Reverse Split of a Stock. I bought
about $1500 bucks worth of VCSC a while back. Then they did a reverse split
which I though you got even money but less shares. Boy was I mistaken. I
ended up going from 1500 to 150 bucks worth of stock overnight. Am I
mistaken about a reverse split. Now they merged with NVPM and I'm sure I'm
to lose even more. They did a 250 for 1 reverse split but I thought I was
safe in the fact that my dollar amount would not change much but I was
wrong. The problem is all this happens and you never see any information on
it. I tried contacting my broker, Trading Direct, that was a joke. They
don't want to help. I'm going back to Scottrade but where can I find some
details on how I got screwed. I'd be informed on how I lost so much money
on this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It went from .05 to 12.50 to 1.00, never was open for trading that I could
get at. Looks like they did reverse split one night to 12.50 then they
merged with NVPM and now it is at 1.00? Not even sure if it is at 1.00.
Would have loved to have sold it at the 12.50 but couldn't.

A reverse split results in "even" money at the time of the split. In
almost all
cases the stock moves down in value from there. The split just makes the
stock
look better to investors but does nothing to solve the problem as to why
the
stock is at the level to begin with. The problems continue and the stock
continues to crash.
