Downloaded transactions with split category |
|
|
I'm using Q2005. For the last month or so, all downloaded transactions have
the category as "Split". Any ideas on how I can stop this from happening?
As it is now, I need to clear the "split" designation before I enter the
correct category and it's 3 wasted mouseclicks per transaction.
Thanks,
Mark

Make that the Memorized Payees list, at least in Q2006. I think at one
point it was called Memorized Transactions, but I'm not sure when it
changed. |

Check your Memorized Transactions list. You may have an entry in there
with splits, that's being used to allocate all of your new transactions.

Control-J and Control-T call up these functions as always. |

Thanks. I went into the memorized Payee list and deleted all the payees
with split categories. Next download didn't have a problem.
