offers webMethods Fabric, a business integration product suite that enables

applications. webMethods Fabric unifies the enterprise application
integration and business-to-business capabilities, with its business process
management and workflow functionality, as well as the business activity
monitoring, portal, and Web services technologies. In addition, the company

training, and ongoing outsourced maintenance and operational support. WMI
licenses its software and sells its services primarily through its direct
sales organization, as well as through other sales channels, including its
strategic software vendor partners, systems integrators, other partners,
distributors, and resellers. As of March 31, 2005, the company had
approximately 1,300 customers in various industries, including
manufacturing, chemicals, oil and gas, life sciences, metals, paper and
plastics, financial services, consumer goods manufacturing and retail,
government, and telecommunications. It has strategic relationships with
Accenture, Atos Origin, BearingPoint, Capgemini, CGI-AMS, Computer Sciences
Corporation, Crowe Chizek, Deloitte, Electronic Data Systems Corporation,
Hewlett-Packard, and Tata Consulting Services, as well as Global eXchange
Services, Oracle Corporation, SAP AG, and Siebel Systems. WMI was founded in
1996 and is headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia.
