Here's a little performance you can entertain the folks with when you get
there (you'll need a proper costume).

Discontinued models / styles?

Usually a manufacturer ( actually, importer these days ) willl not
undersell their retailers. Current items are not sold at less than
"street" prices.

no idea...not much of a shoe trend follower.......I just needed
something that would help absorb shock whilst I attempt to play
tennis....they seem to do the trick.
I *think* those Boing. commercials from a few years ago were Nike
shox...but I might be wrong.......not sure how long they've been around.

Forwarding it is just not as good as performing it in costume. I think you
should consider doing an actual performance for the folks. They will talk
about it for years to come :)

Huh? What's your point? What does the price of anything in Asia have
to do with so called US manufacturer's "outlet stores"?

I know zilch re shoes. I was speaking in general terms re so called
manufacturer's 'outlet' stores and also with standard retail channels
of distribution. I do remember how hot LA Gear was some years ago.
The company's stock was all the rage. If you want to learn sneaker
speak, start here:
http://sneakers.pair.com/
http://sneakers.pair.com/g-l.htm#LAGear

My LA Gear reference is my distaste for fashion. Nothing wrong with
last year or week's look if it feels great. Too bad more don't
connect with reality. Too many air heads with too much money imo.
