Locked Transaction?

QB 2005 Pro. I entered a pair of recurring general journal entries this
month. Each posted normally. Now when I try to open either of them for
editing, by clicking on them in the General Ledger report, nothing happens.
All other transactions (deposits, sales, etc.. ) open normally. I looked
back over the year and discovered the same behavior on the entries starting
with July. The first six months' entries open normally.

Any explanation?

And this is after you rebuilt the file?

Yes - I ran File | Utilities | Rebuild - no improvement
