Oh WOW! You found an article promoting an Italian TV Show. White
Phosphorus is oulined below.
What is white phosphorus?
White phosphorus is a colorless, white, or yellow waxy solid with a
garlic-like odor. It does not occur naturally, but is manufactured from
phosphate rocks.
White phosphorus reacts rapidly with oxygen, easily catching fire at
temperatures 10 to 15 degrees above room temperature.
White phosphorus is used by the military in various types of
ammunition, and to produce smoke for concealing troop movements and
identifying targets.
It is also used by industry to produce phosphoric acid and other
chemicals for use in fertilizers, food additives, and cleaning
compounds. Small amounts of white phosphorus were used in the past in
pesticides and fireworks.
In closing.....it is used in ammo, and used for concealment purposes. I
feel sorry for those who choose to believe in propaganda...not only
propaganda...but really bad propaganda with no sources listed except a
TV Show!
White Phosphorus is not banned against the Geneva Convention. If you
have a problem with this substance used in War, I suggest you write the
UN and try to get it banned...not post rediculous comments with
rediculous articles as "proof". |

You mean just like all smoke is toxic if inhailed........
This is the difinition of what a Chemical Weapon is according to the CW
convention.
1. "Chemical Weapons" means the following, together or separately:
(a) Toxic chemicals and their precursors, except where intended for
purposes not prohibited under this Convention, as long as the types and
quantities are consistent with such purposes;
(b) Munitions and devices, specifically designed to cause death or
other harm through the toxic properties of those toxic chemicals
specified in subparagraph (a), which would be released as a result of
the employment of such munitions and devices;
(c) Any equipment specifically designed for use directly in
connection with the employment of munitions and devices specified in
subparagraph (b).
2. "Toxic Chemical" means:
Any chemical which through its chemical action on life processes can
cause death, temporary incapacitation or permanent harm to humans or
animals. This includes all such chemicals, regardless of their origin
or of their method of production, and regardless of whether they are
produced in facilities, in munitions or elsewhere.
(For the purpose of implementing this Convention, toxic chemicals which
have been identified for the application of verification measures are
listed in Schedules contained in the Annex on Chemicals.)
White Phosphorus is hardly used ONLY for the purpose of breathing in
Smoke/burning individuals alive. It is a carcinigen, and used for
explosives. GIVE ME A BREAK!
Do you really think that our Government is going to Mass Murder people
by the use of CW's? If we were to use CW's I'm sure we could come up
with a plan better than "hoping the enemy breathes in fumes"!!

and we found sarin nerve gas and mustard gas too.
these left wing-pro terrorist kooks are still mad we defeated the
terrorists in fallujah. we let all the civilians out, then we proved we
were not afraid of "hand to hand combat" as the marines went door to
door and slaughtered the terrorists. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH .....boy does that
make the left wingers and islamo terrorists MAD !!!!!!!!! and i bet we
did use phosphorous bombs on a few of their booby trapped bunkers....
