Trying install CRM 3.0 |
|
|
Hi guys,
I'm tryingo to install the trial version CRM 3.0 but
i'm receving two errors:
1) MS SQL SERVER:
"MSSQLSvc service principal name not found for account
CN=OFFICESYSTEMBR,OU=Domain Controllers,DC=officesystem,DC=com."
2) REporting Services
"Setup failed to validate specified Reporting Services Report Server
http://OFFICESYSTEMBR/Reportserver. Error: The report server cannot decrypt
the symmetric key used to access sensitive or encrypted data in a report
server database. You must either restore a backup key or delete all encrypted
content and then restart the service. Check the documentation for more
information."
I don't have any Idea what is it

Hi,
2 - I've run into this as well and came to the conclusion that the easiest
way to get SQL Reporting Services up and running again was to uninstall and
then install SQL R S again. This error, at least what I've experienced has
nothing to do with crm.
Good luck

Hi, Leandro.

"MSSQLSvc service principal name not found for account

You can find an article about this topic in MSDN.
There it is described how to set the service principal name.
(Unfortunately, I havn't bookmarked the link :-( )

How to deal with the reporting services is described in the Implementatiom
Guide.
There are some issues concerning the language....
Hope this helps

Jürgen

Specific questions related to CRM v3 should be addressed to the Early Access
newsgroup. For connection details see:
