I am by no means an expert but I encountered a similar program last night.
After a few frustrating attempts to disable and renable online access to a
couple of accounts I decided to try rebooting the machine. After shutting
down Quicken and preparing to reboot the computer, I discovered that the
dialog window prompting for my pin vault password was hidden and Quicken was
apparently in the middle of attempting to do an automatic update. I waited
for the system to restart then made sure to fill in the password and wait
for the automatic update to occur. Once this was complete, all of my online
accounts were enabled and present as before.
