Ugh! The fix is unfixed. The daily price changes are recorded correctly in
Investment Summary and Best and Worst Performers, but not where it matters
most, the Last Price in PV and Today's Total Change, and of course, the
Market Value of one's holdings.

And, btw, since I've used M2004 has never properly recorded the changes for
one pink sheet stock I own, Canadian Oil Sands, which isn't exactly an
unknown stock.

I guess I needed to give M a 2d chance and maybe more time. With the
exception of COSWF, all mutual fund prices and changes have been recorded
correctly with my 2d download.

COSWF is not a mutual fund. Actually it is a Canadian oil trust. Its
price is reported once per day.

Cal, I know that COSWF is not a mutual fund. My original comment identified
it as a stock. I was simply adding that it was one more investment that M
wasn't recording properly.

Thanks for your good work on this board.

My experience, too. Unfortunately, if you downloaded in the 1-1.5 hours before
that all of your Nov 2 prices got overwritten with the mis-identified Nov 3
prices.

I reported this via chat on the MS support web site. They say they are still
"working on it" but don't have any info re when they will succeed. What a
bummer!

What I saw tonight in fact happened to me several times in October before
10/21.

Did you check your old prices? Unfortunately, the valid 11/2 prices were most
likely overwritten by the misdated 11/3 prices.

Very interesting. So, the problem is unique to M2004. It's a minor issue,
but have you any suggestions on how to solve the problem? Thanks.

I also just checked in Money 2004, and I also get a nice number for
COSWF Change and Today columns.

Try grouping by account and see if things change. You might make a
copy of your file to experiment. Try to make sure the transactions
are only Buy, Sell, and Dividend perhaps.

I later went back to Money 2006. The % Change and TotChng columns
for COSWF were blank. It was after midnight EST.

And again I went to Money 2004. The Today column for COSWF still had
the number.

In each case I reloaded prices.

Thanks for your assistance. Today, under Best & Worst Performers, COSWF
shows a price decline of $2.209, but that change is not picked up anywhere
else. The Last Price in PV is yesterday's and the change for today is zero.
My PV is grouped by accounts, with COSWF in 2 of them.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean here: "Try to make sure the
transactions are only Buy, Sell, and Dividend perhaps." With the exception
of foreign taxes collected each dividend, all transactions are what you
suggest.

So, M2004 recognizes COSWF in one area only and nowhere else. I'm stumped.
I did not have this problem in M2003. (I only recently upgraded to M2004).

If you have any other ideas, I'll appreciate them. Thanks.

Hmm, maybe I shouldn't be trying to download so soon after 6 pm eastern. I
downloaded again and this time the price change and today's total change
recorded correctly for COSWF, although the Last Price was still yesterday's.
Tomorrow I'll wait until 7 pm.

I've just assumed that pink sheet stock prices were availabe at the same
time as mutal funds. Maybe not. Thanks again.

I have not been following this entire thread, so sorry if this was already

everyday only at 7 PM EST. So if you try to update prices before then you
