Can anybody explain the basics of Nstural Gas Futures Contracts to me.

How many MCF are traded in a futures contract?
And what would a contract trading at $14.00 actually sell for?

I assume it is x MCF at 14.00 etc.

If you know a site the explains all this please point me in the right
direction.

I am interested in hedging against future gas costs.

You should *always* consult the specific contract specifications of the
exchange on which a contract is traded: http://www.nymex.com/NG_spec.aspx
