I have read that you can track mileage in QuickBooks 2005 but cannot find
that it can be done in QB 2006. Anyone know?
Thanks

In the Canadian Premier editions, in the Company Menu, Enter Vehicle
Mileage. I don't know about other editions.

It appears to be too minor of a feature to be listed on the Intuit Web site,
however I doubt a feature that has been present for several versions would
be removed.

Thanks for the reply, I have since spoken to an Intuit salesperson and yes
it does track mileage. Now I am trying to find out if you can track workers
comp costs through Contractor Edition 2006 or just with payroll
subscriptions. Maybe you know Allan. Thanks for all your replies. |

Payroll functionality is the same for all versions. If you need to
automatically track workers compensation then you would have to subscribe to
the Enhanced Payroll Subscription.
