anyone? i was hoping i could track these holdings as well.

Describe the 'holdings'. Are you talking about ounces of gold in your safe
deposit box? Shares of a mining company? Be more specific.

sorry, i should have been more specific. i am speaking of physical ounces
held both in a safe and in a safe deposit box. i have all of my investment
accounts, retirement accounts, bonds, etc... entered into money and i was
just curious if there was a way to also track the current value of the silver
and gold holdings as well?

thank you for your response

I don't know if you can download the price of metals, but you can simply
create an investment account (without corresponding cash account) and create
investment called gold and silver. A share is an ounce, or whatever the unit
of price quote is. Manually update the price as often as you feel compelled
to do so.

Or create an asset account and update the gross amount periodically.
