is BetterTrades.com course worth it? |
|

I went to the introduction seminar of BetterTrades.com. It sounds
interesting and promising. But is it for real?
Can I get return they promised in 6 months? I'm a little bit skeptical.
If anyone has experience in this, please reply. Thanks a lot. I just
want to know whether it's worth $3000.

In one word: NO. Nobody can "promise" returns and deliver
consistently on the promise. Think about it: If anyone knew the way
to "returns", do you think they would be peddling their system, or
would they use it quietly to get unbelievably rich. You'd be much
better off investing a few dollars in some good books on the subject of
interest to learn the basics. The rest is up to you, the risks you
want to take, your discipline, etc.
IMHO, anyway. |

I thought the same way. But I still have some reservation that some
people definitely know more than I do. :)
The thing BetterTrades didn't impress me is the sales team. They keep
saying that "I don't care about money... money is not important to
me...". When you ask them to disclose what their investment return rate
is, they dodge the question quickly.
Since I didn't attende the 2 day seminar, I cannot judge them too much.
As far as I can see from the sales people, they apparently make more
money selling the seminar than trading.... Considering the number of
people sign up for the class and the number of sales people in one
team, I have to say that it's hard to trust BetterTrades.

Guys... this thread-topic has been discussed ad nauseum. No successful
trader is going to hawk a seminar. Spend a few hundred and buy some good
option texts:
Baird: Option Market Making
Hull: Anything from John Hull; specifically, Options futures And Other
Derivatives
Natenberg: Option Volatility And Pricing |

Jay, Read the BetterTrades money-back guarantee. You must trade the BetterTrades method exclusively for six months; you must make at least 6 options trades/month correctly using one of the BetterTrades strategies in each of the six months; you must present your broker's statement to BetterTrades if you haven't made $3000 in six months. Buyer Beware! Bill |
