Restore from Tape |
|
|
=====
ISSUE
=====
I need to restore my Quicken 2004 Deluxe data files from tape (it's a
long story). I will NOT be using the Quicken restore function. I know
that the data files live in the c:\quickenw\data folder. My actual
Quicken data file is named jeff.qdf. Do I restore just this one file or
ALL the jeff files (jeff.idx, jeff.qel, jeff.qph, jeff.qsd,
jeffofxlog.dat, etc)?
==========
BACKGROUND
==========
O/S = WinXP Pro
Patches Installed
Software = Quicken 2004 Deluxe
Patches Installed
=========
Thanks!!!
THE END

All you really need is jeff.*. Unless you use Home Inventory,
in which case, you probably do not have the necessary file in
the quickenw\data folder and you may not have it on your tape at
all. Its default name is QHI.IDB and it normally resides in the
Quicken application program folder.
