I've been using Quicken for some 8 or 9 years, beginning with the US version
and later moving onto the UK version. Now intuit in UK is stopping
supporting Quicken from January 2006. I use the program for general
household bookkeeping and keeping my share portfolio under scrutiny. I do
not use the tax parts of the software. What I can replace Quicken with come
January. The US version? The Canadian version? Do these allow multicurrency
accounts and UK stock price downloading. Are they still compatible with the
UK version? Microsoft Money? What are the drawbacks with this cf Quicken?
Grateful for any advice.

Hi Robert,

I am facing the same problem. There seems to be a complete lack of
concern on the net. Maybe people will start to panic nearer to the cut
off date.

The "best option" currently seems to be MS Money. There is a thread
running on the The Motley Fool site http://www.fool.co.uk/ that I am
keeping an eye on.

Good luck

Mark
