Default Loan Modification assist to reduce loan burden. Isn’t it?

Last week one of my friend told me that he is in big trouble. He need to payoff his existing loan within two months and amount is around 20K. Now this loan is taken for his home and due to the recession he lost his job. But he got a new one which do not pay him much then the previous one but will do to lead the life. Now he was asking me how to payoff the loan as he hasn’t have sufficient fund. I told him to give a try on loan modification, its well known concept now due to this recession. People are using it to be at their home. Otherwise their sweet home would be taken by the lender. Now you see everything has its positive and negetaive but in necessity we cant think of the negatives so I am talking about it is that people may think it as a bad decision but it help people to get out of the trouble.

Need to know your opinion.

With a loan modification, you get to choose better terms and better paying options. Whatever your initial terms for the payment of your loan, the same things may not be as applicable to you now in the present. While the conditions before are easily met, they may not be as burdenless no as they formerly were. Moreover, having fulfilled some payments already, you have a better idea of how you can better meet your required payments, rather than the lender. Whether you need a longer period of time for paying your loans to make the individual payments smaller, or you need a smaller interest rate with a longer duration of paying them, talking with the bank and modifying your loan would benefit you tremendously.
